May 2008

May 10 - Vessel Exam Station at West Marine in Reno.  In conjunction with Washoe SAR and Boater's Flea Market.

May 17 - Special Weather Training at National Weather Service office, Reno.  Ken Willrich has organized a special tour and training at NWS.  Please contact Ken for reservations.

May 17-23 - National Boating Safety Week. For information, please see the 2008 Safe Boating Campaign.

May 19 (Wednesday) 7pm - Reno Flotilla Meeting.  The Reno Flotilla monthly meeting is held at the Round Table Pizza Conference Room in the Reno Town Mall.  The Business meeting starts at 7 PM and usually lasts for an hour followed by a training event. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

May 23-24 - Free Vessel Safety Checks at Lahonton Reservoir.  The start of the boating season is the perfect time to make sure you are a safe operator.

 

June 2008

June 7 - Public Boating Safety Class at the IGT building in Reno.  Click here for more information.

June 14 - Sparks Marina - Kids Free Fishing Day.  Join the Reno Flotilla and about 1500 young fishermen at this annual Rotary event.  The Flotilla will be providing safety information.
